bosch wvf2402gb/01 dryer heater failed I replaced ok but customer says machine is over heating (dangerous !) I see a “tunnel kit” part no 480948 is listed with stats etc is this designed to sort out this problem? is this a common fault? I know someone out there will know! 😉

Did you have to uncouple the water supply when you did the repair previously?
Im wondering if the hot and cold pipes have been put on the wrong way round. Worth checking first.

    Power off first :plug:

I believe these machines are cold fill only?

The Tunnel plate kit is a costly option and it’s cheaper just to replace each individual stat. 😉

However I think your problem is likely that bloomin’ condenser unit is clogged up. (a sod to get at too 🙁 )

Yes you are right Martin 😛

If that were the case the safety TOC would activate.

I think thermostat replacement would be an avenue then to pursue.

    The thermostats are p/nos – 151455,172288 and 172287.

I have NEVER had to replace a stat on one of these. As Gegsy says TOC would trip if appliance overheated.

Probably customer fault rather than m/c. 😆
