ParticipantThis is a brand new machine which is leaving a soap powder residue both on the clothes and on the bottom of the door seal.
The machine is not being overloaded and water pressure is not a problem.
Any other thoughts? The missus is not best pleased at the moment 👿 and we dont really want to switch to liquid if at all possible.

Lots of options here, Is the detergent placed on the clothing or in the dispenser? Is the correct programme being selected? Has the ‘economy’ button been selected? Running it without clothing, how much water enters the drum during wash? Does it drain fast enough…….?

Powder in the dispenser, 40 degree wash cycle, economy cycle not selected.
I’ll check out the rest..

Hmmmmm! Seems the machine checks out then and the mystery unsolved from what you say, that’s very odd you still get marks on clothes then 😕
I also would’nt recommend liquid detergent but to put the powder in the dispenser rather than in the drum (especially as you have good water pressure – that should take away the powder nicely!)
As it is brand new, why got give the problem for Bosch to solve eh? 💡

KeymasterOverdosing? Other than over loading it’s about the only other thing that can cause it, unless it’s a cheapo detergent that isn’t disolving properly.
I’d seriously doubt it was anything to do with the appliance.

Eliminate all other factors first though, as no fault with machine = chargeable job.

Thanks
