KeymasterThe light, ignition and clock have stopped working, but the fan is working. There is a plug which works the fan and is OK and presumably works the above as well.
Is there a fuse or cut-out switch in the oven itself, if so where? The grill may have got over heated. How do I repair this?

Hi
With this unit being a gas appliance, you must get a Corgi engineer to repair it for you.
Find a Corgi engineer hereGreg

An engineer from Stoves came and fixed the problem. All it need was for a cut-out switch in the oven to be reset. Unfortunately this was described in the user manual I got from MFI.
The problem was caused by closing the grill door with the grill still on causing it to verheat.
To get to the switch you need to unscrew the front of the oven which secures it in the cabinet, then pull the oven out slightly to get to the top panel. Unscrew the front of the top panel and reach inside the the front left to the cut-out switch and reset it with a screw driver.
Apparantly the newer version of this oven (mine I bought in year 2002) has the cut-off switch in a more accessible position.

I’ve had this same problem but can’t seem to find this reset button. I’ve poked a screwdriver in every hole I can find at the back of the clock panel, but no joy….
Can anyone help with some specifics re the reset botton location?

just fixed mine!
you need to unscrew the oven, pull it out completely and put it on the floor……….

erm, please dont post advice about dismantling gas ovens in a public forum
as previously stated, u need to have a corgi registered engineer to repair your appliance, regardless of how easy it is
the law’s there for safety reasons
and it doesnt matter if your only repairing the electric side of it, the machine still needs to be purged and drop tested to ensure safety
thanx
