    Have a mate with the above w/m. The fault is: On spin it won’t ramp up to full speed seems to get to 800-1000 then stops, Also sometimes after the spin has finished the spin prog starts again. Have checked tacho, fill level, pressure chamber and pump filter. Wondering if it could be a module fault, but at Bosch prices I doubt it would be economical to repair.

    Would like to sort this one as he has offered to do my soffits and facias at £500 less than all previous quotes

    I would tend to think it is the motor brush/end frame unit (Pt No 496876) not picking up the stator winding tapping for 1200rpm? Considering the age of the machine the brushes must be well low by now also?

    Thanks Martin, New brushes were fitted 3 Mths ago I wil call again and check that all the pins in the end plate are aligned.
