I have come across a fault on a hotpoint washing machine, model wf250, 34187r, serial 502124564. the machine appears to work fine but the prewash lamp flashes throughout the cycle. originally the customer reported that the machine took about 9 hrs to complete the cycle. the water pressure is slow but allways has been. any ideas?????

I had a WF250 the other day that stuck on the program with the prewash light flashing, water had
run into the machine off the work top and shorted the connector on the conditioner valve, and blown the high quality control board.
The prewash light flashes for fill faults.

Check the inlet valves are working guys. its a strange fault and not even in the manufacturers fault finding. Trust me I know from experience as I work for Hotpoint
