hi everyone
i have a indesit w161 washing machine when trying to do a wash it will fill with water do a couple of turns pause a few seconds then start draining at the same time the dial starts clicking round then the start button will flash ten times pause then repeat could it be the heating element? any advise much apreciated kev.Re: indesit w161 fault
It indicates a fault with the water level control system. Pressure switch is the most likely culprit.
Power off if investigating.

does your machine over or under fill?

it fills to about 50 mm in the bottom of the empty drum and it is 10 flashes

It’s the small switch unit with the thin black hose leading to it. 😉 The switch may be at fault (burnt contacts within) or the hose to it is blocked?
