Has been working well for past 2 years or so but has just developed a leak. No water is being pumped through the hose that exits the rear of the appliance, its just leaking out of the bottom.

I’ve checked it with a spirit level and made sure the condenser cartridge is pushed home securely. I dont know much about these things but think its probably a problem with an internal hose or the pump – any other thoughts?

To avoid the possible expense of calling out an engineer can I remove the plate from the back of the machine to have a look or am I likely to end up causing myself more problems.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    cheers

These m/c’s are a complete pig to strip down, and even worse to put back together :dark:

You are probably correct in that it is a pump problem, however I would advise you contact an engineer because as I say these m/c’s are a pig to repair.

Power off please if you do have a look :plug:

Thanks for the advice, I’ll put my toolbox away and call an engineer on Monday!
