I’ve got a 4 ring Neff gas hob (Sorry, can’t find the model number but it’s about 9 years old) and on one of the rings the ignition stays on, even after the gas has lit. It just clicks away until either you turn the ring off again or jiggle the knob around until it stops.
Is this a common fault? Is it possible to have it repaired and is it likely to be too expensive to be worthwhile.
Not sure it’s 1/ because it’s been working fine for years and all the others are fine. My suspicion is that overzealous cleaning has probably resulted in gunge being dripped down the hole until something has clogged up.
For 2/ roughly how much for a new module + fitting?
