We moved into a new house in which there is a Neff B1451. Everything works fine except for the grill which does not get hot enough to cook anything. It gets too hot to touch, but no hotter. Today I removed the back cover of the oven and tested the grill element with a multimeter. I got 30 ohms on the inner element and 50 ohms on the outer element. What more should I check?
Yes, it seals tightly. We think that only the grill function is faulty because we made a crumble using the Circotherm setting and it came out perfect. We have cooked roasts as well and the timings have been correct.
Hi
Same thermostat for oven and grill, so thermostat must be ok.
Have a look and see if temperature probe in oven cavity is secured and not touching grill element?
If you have to remove panels in the future again please make sure you unplug appliance or isolate at spur or fusebox.
