Can anyone help? I have just moved house and my APM 6825 integrated fridge freezer (I believe it was from MFI) is not freezing properly. When I turn on fast freeze the items in freezer start to defrost, after freezer has been on for a few weeks there is a ice built up by vents located behind 3rd drawer, there doesn’t seem to be any cold air flowing from right vent behind top drawer. Freezer will keep things frozen when they are already frozen but if for example i put in water for ice cubes it can take days to freeze. Fridge seems fine. Is it worthwhile getting engineer out or should I just replace.
If anyone can help you might save my sanity
Thanks
Debbie
Does the freezer door (not the decor door) actually fully close? They often move slightly in the housing and the decor door, whilst appearing fully closed, is holding the freezer door slightly open. Damaged door seal can cause a similar effect.
Is there ventilation to the unit – the ability to draw air in easily is crucial to the machines operation.
