    hi

hope someone can help with this dryer, the fault is that
when you press the start button it turns the drum for a few seconds and then blows a small inline fuse in the wiring loom.
have traced the wire from the fuse one goes down to a front stat in base
the other goes to the control panel where it splits into 3 wires
1/to the timer 1/to the start button 1/to the buzzer
I have checked the heater /motor and stats all seem ok and have no leak to earth on insulation
any ideas would be of help . and thanks for looking .
    thanks 🙂 :rolls:

You sure about the run winding on the motor? Most of these have a centrifugal start device, which can take a second or two before it throws the run winding on,

    Hi
Change the 6.3 amp inline fuse for a 10 amp, that should sort it 😉
