Come on, Mr Connections man I know your out there. Whats going on? I had this problem a few years years ago with another supplier, And it got to the stage, Where I had to phone them before I placed my order, Just to confirm the parts were in stock. Sort of defeats the point of online ordering, Don’t you think?. This did not happenn in the past , So why now?

Sorry Goose,
Whilst they will read this they have never posted a reply to a direct question…..
There’s loads that don’t work with their systems…. I have 8 boxes of returns waiting collection, whilst the system says they will collect, it’s extremely difficult to get them to actually do it within the same month that you purchase the items.
We have 3 doors (fridge) that we are unable to receive an undented one, we are suppose to just keep ordering until we receive a good one, whilst they ignore our requests for pick up of the transit damaged ones.Does this sound familiar….you bet it does!

Not actually entirely true.
CDSL have at least two accounts, both of which have been used to post replies when it has been appropriate. Although I do know that at least one account is used by multilple users in direct breach of the site use T&C. Thus far I have allowed the discretion for the account/s involved to continue without challenge for CDSL and some others.
Sadly though, like those many others also, it would appear that a public and open debate is not on the agenda which only says to me that there is obviously something to hide when a direct question is asked. If it is a direct question levelled in a “public” forum should the answer not be publically available within that same forum? Is that not the point of a forum, to openly debate issues and ultimately resolve them?
Or is it simply used to spy on what is being said about you by others rather than to answer questions which are within your power to answer?
Make up your own minds who’s doing what.
I can’t tell you directly who has access here and who does not, that would be in breach of my own rules, both in print and on a personal level, but I can tell you that every major manufacturer, insurer and work provider have a representation of some sort within this forum.
And they all watch. And they all note what is said.

It would also appear that a post made by a UKW subscriber in the subscribers only forum regarding nefarious antics by certain parties has made it’s way to the perpetrator of the antics 😉

I should point out that nobody in particular is being accused of the above, it just so happens that the conversation started here and has kinda steered that way.
But it does show just how much interest and notice that some people are taking as they choose to pay enough attention to gain access through a third party. Not exactly playing by the rules and, I’m sure, that were the roles reversed many a business would probably seek to take action over the breach.
But it’s dead easy to catch people out. 😉

Whilst many have vented their anger and frustration towards CDS Ltd of damaged goods, items perported to be in stock then automatically back ordered etc. And it appears they pay attention to these issues by reading these threads directly or indirectly. Sadly their customer communication skills are somewhat lacking based on the systems (or lack of?) they have in place to deal with their account customers. If the handful of replies to this thread are anything to go by they could just be the tip of the iceberg?
It is very unlikely anyone within the company will identify themselves here on UKW. (I recall the effect a certain person at Indesit endured whenever he made comments) Therefore, wouldn’t it be a good idea for those so affected to complain directly (by snail mail) to the highest level within their company? Does anyone know the name of the MD or CEO at Medco House? A well aimed letter to the right person can often be extremely effective. 😉

Local rep always happy to take parts back for me but do get fed up with the amount of pattern parts I receive having ordered genuine.
They must think we are stupid.
Are they selling pattern parts online to the unsuspecting general public I wonder?

I never see a rep. but they are usually OK about taking returns back by collection with a returns number…… until last time. I have a security lantern that is faulty. I have phoned and emailed about it but so far no returns number. 👿

I’ve had problems getting the orders on time, needed a compressor placed the order on Tuesday at 1.30 PM on line, compressor arrived the following Monday via DHL, not good enough, the result was one unhappy customer. Who we kept waiting as the customer sees it.

What the verdict on these guys as suppliers?
Never heard of them until a rep visited us last week. Not so much interested in them for spares, more small appliances like vacs, kettles etc. What are they like for deliveries and, more importantly, returns of faulty stock?
I have to admit this thread doesn’t make Connect sound too promising, but I look forward to your opinions.
Cheers 😀

👿 👿
Just been told that parts ordered last Thursday have gone by post because they were small items??????(door seals, oven elements) AND to give it 7 to 10 days for delivery 😯 .
Sorry for my bluntness but that is complete crap and no good to any business on the planet . So far its lost me two customers.
What bl***y planet are they on.Tony C
