My washer/dryer recently shed its belt but rather annoyingly pulled the wires out of the thermistor/thermostat in the process.
I can’t quite work out where to reconnect?

    There are three wires:
1 grey (thicker than other 2) coming from heating elelent.
2 visually identical white wires labelled “TH” coming from the loom.

See photo attached in user gallery.

I’ve established that the connector top right in photo is not/has not been used.
Continuity test shows a circuit between top left and top right terminal.
Same test shows a circuit between bottom left and bottom right terminal.
No circuit between top and bottom terminals.

2 white wires are in same circuit

Any idea of the correct connection for these 3 wires??

    cheers

The thermostat should show a reading of just about zero ohms.
    The ther
mistor should show a reading in kOhms.
Heavy wire goes to the thermostat, lightweight wires go to thermistor.

    Mind the power,

    Top is thermostat, bottom thermistor.
    Machine working fine.

    Thanks very much
