    Pretty average load got as far as the rinse cycle and then 13amp fused blew.
    Removed the washing and started empty machine from where it stopped – Wash finished okay so put load back in and started from rinse – everything seemed to be okay, but fuse blown again after a few minutes.

    Could be that the motor brushes have worn out and the motor is shorting to earth now? Could be lots of reasons aside from that more usual cause?
