KeymasterWater pressure Andy?
What program are they using because the full-on wash does take about 2 hours anyway, combine that with low water pressure and low incoming temperature and I’m quite sure it could stretch to 3 hours easy.
Other than that, customer imagination just like they’ll tell you it’s only two years old? 😉

I considered that Ken but don’t these machines have a fill timeout error?

OK – thanks Ken for that, very much appreciated.
There are codes for fill and drain timeout’s and it is heating OK so you would think that if there is a problem it would show up.
Might try a module reset but apart from that ??.
thanks again

KeymasterOther than that I can’t really think of much TBH, there’s nothing that should give that fault. In all honesty I don’t see it being the PCB though.

No me neither. I tried to explain to the guy that on the old electro-mechanical timers it might have been a timer motor sticking etc. But nowadays with all timing done in software its not really feasable.
I always get the impression though that they think we are looking for excuses to backheel the job because we don’t understand the problem.
Be glad when i retire!
Andy 😀
PS These machines have a 7 min fill timeout, a 3 min drain timeout and a heating timeout so if it was any of these it should give an error.

Syphoning?

Even if it was syphoning it should suffer from a timeout and chuck up an error I would think. Worth checking that damn side chamber though just in case I suppose, you can tell how the thought fills me with glee. 😉
It’s odd though as usually a mouse farts near these things and they throw a wobbly as we see daily in the public forums. 😕

flashing 3 & 4 lights doesnt relate to any error code, coil failures usually show up straight away with a pulsing of the pump and a bleep as soon as the door is shut. Clean under the little black flap in the filter sump with realy, just off boiling water, dont poke anything stiff 😳 up there though as its a rubber hose which bends at 90 degree. I usually insert a length of pressure switch hose and discharge a syringe load of hot water inside.
