I have a freestanding Scandinova Fridge possitioned next to a freestanding Scandinova Freezer. They have been working fine for a good number of years. However for the last couple of weeks I notice that the temperture inside the fridge is just not low enough. The guage actually shows 8 degrees. It seems to me staying at room temperature.
The panel inside the back of the fridge is pretty cool to touch and is misty.
I desperately need some advice as to what may be the problem.

Can you hear the compressor running all the time?
If so then it could be gas problem.As for the panel inside, at high thermostat setting, drops of ice should form. If the compressor is not running then it could be few other things.

I think I can hear the compressor running most of the time.
The panel inside does have droplets of ice forming but you are able to wipe them off with your hands.
If it is a Gas problem… what would the procedure be.. at least cost.

Re-gas has to be done by a professional because of the Refrigerant.You have to collect the gas and dispose off properly with the recovery machine.
The charges for that particular job varies b/w £80 and £120.
Best to have to inspected.
