1) Check bias spring is attatched to tub.
2) Check suspension is correctly attatched and free to move.
3) Check function of switch – it should be free to move easily and not be stiff, corroded or wet. Wiring can also deteriorate.
You’ll need to take the top deck off to check fully – two screws at the back.

I’ve had the same but it goes away – looks like I’ll have to do some maint.
I’ve see reference to different “phases” of F&P washers how do I know what mine is ?

Check your OOB switch for corrosion and dodgy wiring – it’s a regular thing.
