    Hi guys.

I`ve got to change the main oven temprature film.

I know it comes seperate from the other one but how do you remove it?.

How does the bezel come off,i can`t see any retaining screws except 4 underneath that seem to have no part in the removal.

    Any advice greatfully received.

    Thanks.

    Chris.

    Hi Guys
Yes they are a little pig……
Get the cooker out and take the top off, pull off the control knobs on the affected side.
There is one T20 screw holding in a cage arrangement that holds the 2 display film strips and control switches.
The whole lot comes out as one piece but takes alot of fiddling to get out, I have never had to take the facia off but others may find this easier.
The film carrier is held in with another T20 screw.
The strip has a ‘timing’ notch cut into it that has to be aligned with the carrier so everything displays correctly (Like timing when doing a cambelt on a car!)
Don’t be suprised if your back two weeks later with it broken again, but thats another story…………………. 😡

Agree with Steve on this. I have never had to remove the facia to change these.

I find them pretty easy to do (now). But can still remember the first one 👿 .

Best advice I can give is take your time and note where and how everything sits.

    Good luck 😉
