I am looking for a control panel PCB for a WIE 157S UK washing machine… my current unit this morning started displaying wash times for 4:08 or 3:50 for each setting… also the other buttons do not respond (spin speed, temp etc)… wierd thing is that it will actually do a full cycle in normal time so I am sure it is the control PCB
part number is 001456 43/03 SW rel 0.25 on the label so where can I find one of these??… have contacted my local spares and that are quoting £96 non returnable for a different part number but for the same machine…. I am guessing this is the superceed number… anyone got any advice or ideas???
Also looking at my current PCB there is no removeable EEPROM but you can get boards with no EEPROM.. any advice would be great!!

The display module is a different part to the main power control module which is in the base. This is the £96 module that has the eeprom fitted, not the display PCB.
Two different display modules fitted, one of them is around £20 + vat, the other £55 + vat. The cheaper one is the later one and will eventually supercede the earlier one. The serial number of your machine will help to identify the correct display PCB, chances are that all stock of the old type have been used so the later one would suffice.
However to answer your last request for ‘any advice’……… bin it and buy something decent.
