    Hello all

    The cooker went off suddenly the other day. After resetting the trip switch and clock, all back to normal. The grill and bottom element are fine, but nothing from the fan elements.
    I’ve replaced these in the past, and I assumed that one had blown again, but they both look fine. Is there anything else I should check before stumping up for two more elements? When they’ve gone before it’s been obvious which one it is, but they look OK this time.

    Only way is to check with a multimeter on the elements.

    POWER OFF FIRST PLEASE.

    Is the fan itself turning? If it is and then no heat then most likey the element. Also visually inspection does not mean that it is ok it sometimes breaks from inside.

    It is not easy on these cookers, so many screws to open,probably need two people.

    Please switch the electrics off if inspecting.Otherwise better to call a pro if you are not confident.The resistance of the element is usually around 30Ohms(with the wires disconnected from it)
