    Hi

    The machine is in rented accomodation & the tenants never cleaned the filter. The filter has now been cleaned, it was thouroughly blocked, it still doesn’t empty.

    I have ordered a new pump as I suspect it is burned out. Is this most likely the fault or should I check anything else ?

    If you can’t actually hear the pump running, replacement is orobably your best bet. If you can hear it running, you have a blockage elsewhere, probably in the hose coming down to the filter.

    Power off if poking about inside.

    The pump can’t be heard so hopefully the new one will fix it……
