    Hi,

I really hope someone can help with this. The above dishwasher will not fill with water. There is water at the inlet to the dishwasher and all the pumps to drain water away are working.

The light is flashing 4 times at a time. I presume this is some kind of fault code.

I am thinking that the inlet valve may be the problem. Is there anyway of testing this.

    thanks
    mk

It won’t fill because it already thinks it’s full – probably.

Remove all filters and soak up any remaining water. At the 3 o’clock position in the sump housing, you should see a black plastic grid. This ia the water level sensor and it gets bunged up with grease and food detritus. You may hit lucky and be able to clean out the goo with the sensor in place – an old toothbrush is a good weapon. Hot water can help as well (mind fingers). If it really won’t come clean, the sensor may have to be removed from underneath to allow vigorous cleaning.

Power off if working on the machine.
