    Can anyone tell me the part number for these gromits for a SMEG DWF614SS or a substitute. and where to order from, as you see one of these has given up the ghost. Thank’s.

    Hi Doug, are you sure you haven’t got a partial blockage somewhere causing a pressure build up?….i’ve never seen one of these fail before and in cases where i’ve had to seperate the parts for other reasons, i reassemble them with a little vaseline and haven’t had a leak yet….

    They leak like crazy. just strip, clean and re fit with a little vaseline and they will be fine. Have known others to fit 2 o rings as there is room.

    Thanks guys, yes when i removed the side and did a rinse water poured out, think the owner never used salt to keep the limescale down, it was like this all over the filter too. 😀
