Hello, im new to this website so please bare with me. Can anyone help me with my Smeg wd16ba washer/dryer. It does not seem to warm up when on the drying cycle. I am aware that there is a temprature dial which has been set to 90o and it still does not warm up. I have had the unit for three years and it has not warmed up since bought from new. Is there something I am failing to do which is simple e.g. opening a valve/turning a key. Please help …………….

Temperature knob is for wash temperatures only…….. You should only need to set the drying time and it’ll do it from there.

Thanks for your reply. Ive looked through the advice/instructions you forwarded and seem to be doing everything correctly. The machine does activate the drying program selected and tumble the minimal load within however on completion the load is still wet and cold indicating that no warm/hot air has circulated. |During the cycle i can hear air being circulated which must be cold so do you have any ideas why this may be so ?
I noted from the notes that in the trouble shooting questions specific to laundry not drying it mentions ensuring that the water tap is open. Could this be my problem and if so where is it and is it easy to do ?
    Thanks for your time
