This site has been really helpful so far today – thanks 😀

We’ve got as far as establishing that we’ve got an ‘Aquasensor fault’ on our Bosch SGS5302GB/07 dishwasher.

Is there anything we can do to reslove this ourselves or do we need to call someone in?

Many thanks for any further help you can offer.

    Hi
You don’t mention the fault you have, but have assumed aquasensor fault 😕 These sensors rarely cause problems IMHO.
If you can provide the fault, just so we can make sure that you have the right advice to procede 🙂

    Umm, not sure.

The display window (that shows which part of the cycle the machine is on when running) displays ‘1’ when we switch the machine on, and the machine doesn’t work.

Useful links on this site say it’s an aquasensor fault.

The useful links also say to clean the ribbed clear pipe from sump to metering unit aswell. Try that, power off of course 🙂

🙁 Any idea about how to go about getting to the pipe – I’m afraid we don’t know how.

Remove front lower plinth to gain access to innards, pipe will then be visible 😀

    Re: Bosch Aquasensor fault

first thing to do is electronically reset the machine – pressing two buttons together – normally indicated by ‘reset’ under/over two of the cycle buttons. If you have a fill prob , turning the machine on/off or opening the door doesn’t normally interupt the cycle – resetting will . If the appliance then starts working again , wait till it starts filling and listen out for a ‘kler-dunk kler-dunk’ sound . If this is heard , then a blocked ‘ribbed ‘ pipe or pressure chamber is likely to be the prob .

Search the site for Bosch dishwashers not filling or not heating and theres plenty of info aleady here.

    good searching 😀

Thanks, guys. Got the plinth off, found the pipe, giving it a clean now…

    Fingers crossed.

    HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY 😀

Fantastic – clear pipe was full of hideous gunge, duly cleaned and reinstalled – and the machine now works.

Can’t thank you enough, Greg. What a hero! I always knew there was something about the Welsh… 😉
