That model number is not recognised on Partfinder?

    Could it be a BWM129. 😉 I think BMW is a car or a motorbike. 😀

PCB’s can give this fault but worn motor brushes/duff motor will also cause this.

hotpnt, does this always require a new board or can you use your lappy to reprogramme the eeprom for this fault. EMW are reporting an increase in this type of board failure on very late model Indesit/Hotpoint/Ariston machines.

If you can confirm the ‘correct’ model number and possibly serial number. 😉

Personally I would get this off to EMW for a repair, this one should have 3 phase motor and it has a couple of different modules, one around £74.00 + vat list, the other over £93.00 + vat. And that is without eeprom. Looks like yours is the latter. 😥

EMW are repairing these boards now. Around £40.00 + vat.

Make sure you leave the machine unplugged for 10 minutes before touching it. 😯
