    Hi,

My Bosch WFL2260 has just started leaking. Part way through the fill cycle water starts to form a puddle under the machine. It seems to be leaking from the bottom near the front somewhere.

I removed the top and looked underneath too. The top is bone dry (around the inlet) so I don’t think it’s that.

I can’t seem to locate the source of the leak – it comes out quite fast so I would have expected the origin to be easy to find. The drain pipes seem fine and it does not leak if I manually fill the machine and then run the drain programme.

(I did remember to switch off the power) 🙂

Can anyone offer any advice please? I guess the most likely cause is a split in the door seal but it looks OK on inspection.

You will need to detach the door gasket from the front of the machine (not the drum yet) and inspect underneath it. Water traces on the concrete weight will be the obvious giveaway. Check the seal both sides carefully for splits or holes.
To obtain a replacement gasket, click the ‘Shop @’ to get the right part. You will need the ‘E nr’ number and the ‘FD’ number (found on a sticker above the gasket) to order.
    Power off when inspecting!! 😀

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

Sorry for being thick, but it there a trick to getting off the gasket? It’s firmly attached and I can’t see any fixings except for the door hinge/lock. Do I have to do this from inside?

( I have removed the large spring clip around the seal)

    Cheers,
