This is a “split tank” Zanussi in a posh frock. You can do the drum bearings, but it is an absolute cow of a job. Tank has to be removed in it’s entirity and separated into it’s halves before a major assault with a steel bar and a big hammer. Particular attention must be paid to the condition of the drum shaft – any grooving or marks, especially on the brass ring at the front means that it will have to be changed as well.
To be fair, if you have a logical mind and make lots of diagrams, it’s quite straightforward, just very hard work and slow. This is definitely worth a read:
