Whirlpool G2P DWS/WH – No water coming in

My dishwasher refuses to fill with water. It did get blocked when my other half clogged it with rice and fish by not scrapping the plates before filling it. Ever since it has drained OK. The on light comes on steadily, there is no obvious fault, I have removed and cleaned and even air blasted the thing from both ends. I have had the bottom off and blown through and cleared every pipe I can find. There is no obvious reset feature on this machine, but I guess either it is “remembering” a fault, or thinks it is full of water, or the inlet valve has stopped working (which wouln;t appear to be related to being clogged – so I would be surprised if it were that).
