ParticipantHi, our bosch does’nt go into a wash cycle,it fills and drains ok though. A message saying “pump blocked” came up. I’ve cleaned the filter at the front, and the filters propeller? turns freely. Any guidance to where i should be looking now would be much appreciated. many thanks in advance.

is the machine’s drain hose connected to a sink waste or just a free standing drain ? If its connected to the sink drain , i’d take the drain hose off there and check for a blockage/obstruction there next .

If filter has been emptied then drum should be empty. If Spin only selected does the drum turn?

Thanks for your reply’s. having spent all day saturday removing and clearing blocked pipes right through to the waste (which is connected) the machine turned a few times then stopped again 😥 how you guys replace those clips again i dont know?? 😆 to date it fills and drains away although i dont know how it did before it was well blocked 😳 but still does’nt wash ie the drum wont turn on any programme.i can turn it by hand and the belt seems tight enough. the motor brushes were changed by an engineer last year by the way. any ideas to my next venture?? thank god for bank holidays 😆 thanks again

Investigate motor and brushes is your next step. They can stick in the holders.
Power off, of course.

Yup, got to come out. After the 2 long screws you will need to lever the motor towards the rear of the machine to overcome the hold of the rubber bushes.
