ParticipantHi
I have got a Necht WQP12-6015 Dishwasher causing me a problem, it stops halfway through a cycle and does not drain the water out. I know there is not a blockage because I can put the dishwasher onto a rinse cycle and it does drain. I have read else where that tablets can cause this kind of problem, but I have tried a normal cycle and it still runs into the same problem.
Any advice would be greatly received!
Thanks
Nick

Heater or more probably safety stat failed. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should be able to supply for you.
Power off if you’re going to investigate.

Thank you for this, I have emailed them. Are these parts pretty straight forward to fit? I do not suppose they do a diagram of where the parts are located, or a service manual?
Cheers

Tech support? Chinese dishwasher? Even we can’t lay our hands on the stuff………. :rolls: . First principles, I’m afraid. Access is from the underside – safety stat should read practically zero when split from the circuit and metered. It’s screwed to the base near the back from memory. Heater reading would typically be 20-30 ohms.
Power off, of course.

😡 that bad is it! Thank you for the pointers, it does not sound to hard. I emailed spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk to see if they could supply the parts, they replied and said they are unable to source Necht parts, any where else I can get these bits from?
Cheers

If memory serves me these are based on the old Merloni dishwashers, even more badly built by the Chinese then imported by that Maple Kitchen mob or whatever their name is this week. They should be the same as the others of the same ilk sold under various names although no-one’s dared call it what it actually is. 😉
If you can get me a photo of the part/s you’re looking for I will very likely be able to match them up with one of the MFI/CDA/Teka or whatever variants. They are trouble regardless of what badge they wear, one brand owner reporting a 47{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} first year failure rate.
When Dave says he has no info what he means is that there is no information available on Necht period that we are aware of. So, he can’t be sure that he’s supplying the correct part and it’s better to say that we can’t supply than just take a guess.

Hi K
Cheers for the reply, and thanks for the info and the offer of trying to source the part.
To be honest, I have not got a clue what these parts look like, i have just pulled the sides off and took a few photos. I was wondering if you could have a look at the pics to identify exactly what parts I need to get out so I can take some close up pics.

Yep it looks awfully like a Haier to me. 😉
What is it you’re after Nick?
There are several variants so I may need pics of the actual parts you want to physically match them, but it should be possible.

ParticipantRe: Necht WQP12-6015 Dishwasher Issues
Hi K
Well Penguin suggested the Heater or more probably safety stat needs replacing, the problem, I not sure what the parts look like. If I had a pic of what they looked like I could probably identify them in the dishwasher.
Cheers

In all honesty Nick, if that’s the case then Id strongly suggest you get a pro in as even we don’t particularly like these to work on and, that’s being nice.
They ain’t fun and they ain’t easy.

ParticipantRe: Necht WQP12-6015 Dishwasher Issues
Hi K
Thank you for your concern but I would really like to have a bash at doing it myself, I see it as bit of a challange now. If I do not get anywhere then by all means I will get a pro in.
What do you think?
Cheers
