Does anyone know what 6 flashes mean?
On startup the machine fills with water but then the error led starts flashing.

Possibly one of these – a defective flow meter, kinked fill hose, water tap off or low water pressure.

Plenty of water flowing in and the machine fills OK. Where is the flowmeter and how does it work?

    Hi
If you remove the l/h side panel of appliance you will find the water matrix. On the bottom left of it is the flowmeter. Unfortunately the flowmeter comes with the water matrix, bummer 😥
Unplug appliance before attempting this :plug:

    Re: Whirlpool G2PDWI/1WH Error Code

Hi Greg – I had a look at the water matrix and found that the flowmeter is indeed faulty. It has a crack in the glass reed switch which picks up the magnetic pulses from the impeller. It’s not responding when the impeller turns. Do you know if the reed switch, or its small circuit board are available separately from the matrix? If not, is the matrix available?
Thanks for your help – Kevin.

    Hi
There is a kit that has two reed relay PCB’s in it (you choose the one you have fitted) part no 4812 310 19147.
This kit is available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
