Baumatic steam oven freeIndustry sources reported that Baumatic and Habitat had done a deal seeing the introduction of Baumatic products into Habitat stores and, a scant few days later, this is confirmed by reports that Habitat and Baumatic have chosen to run a joint promotion to announce this new arrangement.

Baumatic is giving away one of its top-of-the-range BGS460SS Steam Ovens with every purchase of a Habitat kitchen in an offer open exclusively to readers of the Evening Standard and Habitat account holders.

In a special promotion to give maximum exposure to Baumatic’s involvement with the Habitat Fitted Kitchen brand, the free steam oven offer was seen by around 1,489,000 adult readers of the Evening Standard through a series of advertisements in the newspaper during March.

As well as the newspaper advertising, the promotion also went viral with internet advertising on the Evening Standard’s website and to subscribers to the newspaper’s Homes and Property and Weekender e-newsletters, taking its exposure to more than 4,000,000 readers, plus a further 110,000 Habitat account holders.

All customers had to do to take advantage of the benefits of steam cooking with Baumatic’s BGS460SS is present the advertisement in store when purchasing their new kitchen. As an extra incentive all customers were also entered into a prize draw to win back the total cost of their kitchen.

Baumatic’s Premium-line appliance collection is being stocked in each of the five Habitat stores which currently offer the new Fitted Kitchens – on Kings Road, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford, Cambridge and at Lakeside Thurrock – with the BGS460SS Steam Oven forming a key part of the appliance line-up.
