    This one when started drains ok, can hear motorized valve working and then fills until the overfill cuts in the drain pump.level comes down whilst continuing to fill so pump cuts in and out ad infinitum. The wash pump never starts. Can anybody help?

    You’ve not forgotten the most spoken about fault have you 😉
    The dreaded hose from pressure chamber to sump,pressure chamber itself and/or water matrix being gunged up:?:
    Failing that does it fill continually when draining? If so it may be the fill triac on the module that has blown. 🙂

    If during drain at beginning, then fill valve triac on module 😥
    Module 489716 @ £68.10 +VAT etc retail.

    sorry Greg fills continuously after initial drain. ie only when asked to fill. just doesnt stop. filter area fills up to just before it will leak out of door then drain pump kicks in and out(overfill protection). interestingly enough watermain has burst outside house lifting pavement up (not connected) 😯 .

    Ok Simon
    Check top microswitch on Pressure Chamber for correct operation.
    Check module connectors also for scorched connections. 😀

    Does this model have a flow meter on the fill hose ? I havn’t got my laptop to hand to check but if it has , these can sometimes go faulty giving this fault

    Not stripped yet due to it holding up sink and worktop with blocks of wood.
    will see when supported.

    ah simple. 263185 water regulator diaphraghm not operating microswitch. Will stop filling if manually activated. £16.88 delivered from BSH :D. Am having a good day so far. Also sold/fitted whirlpool doorboot i have had in stock for 6 yrs.
