    Re: Oven got no heat!!

Is the oven fan running, or is the oven completely dead?

    Re: Oven got no heat!!

    EOB976X1?

There is a single shot thermal cutout on the back of the oven – this would give you no heat at all. Otherwise, it has to be the control thermostat.

    Thermostat is 3051770-01/8
    Cutout is 3192609-04/2

spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply for you.

blimey you knew the number of the cooker! lol yeah sorry as you put it EOB976X1, thats th one.
so im after the cutout then before the stat then penguin??

but it does give a little heat under 50 degrees so prob still cutout penguin?

    appreciate the help!!

    Re: Oven got no heat!!

So long as you are sure that you are getting some heat, it will be the main thermostat (the one on the control panel) that’s at fault.

Rob, with respect, have you actually tested any of the components?

All that’s left is the safety cut-out………

hi all again just a quick one and only just realised this so yes im simple lol

now i may of replaced the wrong element i replaced the grill element but not the element that sits behind the fan inside of the oven, and going by my problems you reckon i should change this before as im thinking this may be the problem i have??

    Re: Oven got no heat!!

if this oven is a multifunction oven and you are selecting a cooking symbal that looks like this = then it has 2 elements one buried under the bottom of the machine and an element that surrounds the grill element above that would explain half heat if bottom element has failed, if you are selecting a symbal like a circle with a fan inside it then it only uses the element around the fan hope this helps smartin

    Re: Oven got no heat!!

hi there the symbol is a square (circle same thing i know) with a fan in the middle so im presuming that the oven is heated by this element then the fan push’s out the heat to oven cook food?

so thats the element i may need now??

    cheers smartin
