hello, i’m new here, and hope you can help! my machine is 11 years old with no breakdowns, so I cant complain at all. But, for a long time, it seems that it only draws the conditioner from the ‘dispenser drawer’ occasiobnally. I note that the entire draw and its housing seems to regularly attract a build of black mildew/mould, for reasons i do not know! is this preventing some process, and how do i prevent such a build up? i live in a hard water area and tend to use concentrated conditioner. may thanks in advance. thanks in advance, Jonno

many thanks – the soap drawer is in a sink of bleach, and i’m searching for an old toothbrush to clean the drawer ‘insides’ !

If you look up onto the roof of the detergent drawer area , you should see some holes in the central channel ( may be 2 or 4 ) These are probably blocked and a way to attempt to clear them is with an electrical cable tie. You can push one of these into the holes to try and clear the blockage

The only way to clean the roof of the dispenser box sufficiently IMO is to strip out the box and unclip the top from it…you can then get the channels completely clear under a hot tap poking them if necessary with some cable, and get a good flush going from the nozzles to the back of the unit.
Then don’t forget to do a maintenance wash periodically…
