Reuters reports today that an unnamed source has stated that Daewoo Electronics top shareholders have written to Electrolux. There’s no prizes for guessing the general content of that letter.

The obvious answer it to begin sales talks, or rather to restart sales talks would be more accurate says a source with direct knowledge of the matter
The move came days after the Daewoo shareholders decided to drop a proposed $513 million takeover deal by Iran’s Entekhab Industrial Group. And, as reported yesterday, Entekhab have already been rumbling about possible legal action over the collapse of their bid.
The source who declined to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter said the shareholders were waiting for a response from Electrolux. We doubt it will be long before Daewoo or the current owners receive an answer.
