ParticipantHad this about 7 months, over last week had control unit and temp sensor replaced. But the unit seems to run continually. Thermostat set on 2.
The freeze compartment is icing up. From what i’ve read it could be air getting in as the top left had a thin fluffy ice from left to center, but the seals look ok.

Any idea, what rights do I have about replacement or return?
Thanks

From what you say you are still under guarantee – get them back to sort it out

Have you tried turning the stat down? Most Candy and Kelvinator fridge freezers always needed to be set at about 1 or below on the old thermostats.

When the last engineer came he said 2 was the lowest I should go, so the fridge would be could enough!June 24, 2007 at 8:51 pm #218267simrjor

They’ve been twice! What else can they change? It’s not very convenient to have them keep coming back!
Can I ask them to replace it or take it back?

I’m not going to get into the specifics, but let’s just say that I’ve known that opinion to be incorrect.

Setting to one made no difference. The top left draw shown in picture is just getting worse!
How many times to they have to come and do a repair before I can ask for a replacement or return?
