    Washing machine fills then ‘Water tap closed’ LED comes on

    It means rise in water level not detected in the time allowed. You say it fills, so presumably there is a problem with the water level control system – air bell choked, pressure tube holed/kinked/disconnected or switch failure. Machine syphoning could give same result.

    Power off before removing any panel.
