Not really, you’ve done all the sensible stuff.
There is obviously a leak or overfill situation which will need investigation, and you’ve correctly narrowed it down to being the appliance itself 😉
You could probably assist the engineer before he comes by gently tipping the appliance back (with the power off) at 45o…towels down to mop the resulting water spillage on the floor, then at least it may dry out sufficiently for him to be able to run it to find the fault more easily.
