    Hi
My whirlpool oven does not want to turn off after I have cooked – the light stays on and the fan keeps running for up to 2 hours. I have tried turning all three knobs to their full rotation and back to 0; switching off at the main switch and back on but all to no avail.

Anyone out there got a suggest – it will be most welcome

    Cheers Bobblesimmo 😥

Most ovens these days will over run the cooling system after use, how long depends on just how hot the appliance is when it’s turned off.

If it’s always taken this long to switch off you need to check that you have the correct ventilation for the appliance, but if it’s just started doing it then you may have a lazy cut-out…not a big or expensive job.

If you need an engineer then try the link below?

Thanks Clive – it may be a ventilation problem, it does seem to be well boxed in but, even if the oven door is left open after cooking it seems to make little or no difference.
And, why does the light need to stay on too?

Consulting the manual that comes with the cooker is a joke – 1 A4 double sided with little info.

Yes I would like to find a local engineer that doesn’t charge Whirlpools prices. I live in Worthing Wst Sussex

    Regards
