    Having changed the thermostat, if l turn the oven on it starts to heat, but when l open the door it trips the breaker. Any ideas please?

    Wiring fault changing the stat, earth fault somewhere, faulty door switch/wiring?

    First thing is to check for a short circuit with the door open, then check for earth faults.

    Power off at all times of course :zap:
