    Part number please for the fridge evap cover and is this the ‘improved’ one with fan motor etc?

    Well i’m wondering because Connect show it at around 11 quid 😯

    I’m assuming this is just a simple plastic cover on Connect and not ‘the works’? (i realise they’re not your favourite supplier Chris 😉 )

    YOU CAN TELL IF NEW COVER ASSY IS MODIFIED IF YOU GET A LEAFLET WITH IT, CONTAINING A SMALL METAL CLIP..(TRANSFERS HEAT FROM EVAP TO COVER ASSY)

    IF NOT , ITS NOT THE LATEST PART..

    ALSO WORTH CHECKING HEATER ARE WORKING…

    Defrost heater was fine during time of replacing the evap cover…now it’s gone o/c 😕
    Can the fridge defrost heater be replaced without the evapoartor, and if so does anyone have the part number please?

    Clive the heater is unclipped from new Evap by bending fins slightly. Then fitted to old Evap in same way.

    PART NO FOR EVAP..

    DA96-00013T,
    unfortunately you have to get whole evap , and then remove heater unit from it…
