Hey folks, i have error 131 up that i diagnosed with the help of this site.
Now my problem is getting to the spin motor.
I have gotten most of the machine apart and have now just to remove the motor from the bottom of the drum. Do you unscrew the white cap from the bottom of the motor, or do you bash the shaft through from the top of the machine?

    Thanks

Removing the rotor from the underside of the drum will give you sufficient access to the Rotor Position Sensor.

Thanks penguin, but which part is the rotor and how do i get the thing apart.
Is there any way to test the rps?
Or is it a visual check only and replace kind of item?
Do you happen to have a part number, as i have been arsed around by our local F&P counter jockies already with getting a pump.

    Thanks.

If You look under washer youll see a white Nut (Dead Centre)

Remove Rotor With 16mm Socket (Nut comes away with rotor)
Unscrew 4 Bolts That holds in Stator (Motor Windings)
Remove Stator away from shaft turn over & Youll see RPS
    (Rotor postion sensor Little PCB)

You can only Test RPS With Special Device
Close visual check can be suffice
    Check tracks for Corrosion ETC
While your There check Shaft Area for Signs of leaks
    RPS Part # 420296P ($55.00aud)
