Have to look at one of these 5years old (Integrated Neff S5443x2 GB17) dishwashers. Customer reports hardly any noise out of it & if they open door theres hardly any spray from spray arms at all, it does fill ok, filter in sump is clean. Do motors or capacitors give problems? I’ve looked at Connect & they list a circulation motor only ( not pump section) for £88.

on some models there is a half load valve but generaly poor wash results are the complaint

They either work or they don’t, usually the pump leaks into the shaft bearing and the whole lot seizes up. Prior to that happening the machine gets very noisy of course. 😉 Capacitors give no trouble in my experience.
Pump impellors never fail as a rule except when something like a teaspoon finds its way into the entry pipe, or pheasant was on the menu the night before and lead shot has buggered it up :rolls:

Yeah right… :rolls: Ask them the time of day and they never get it wrong but ask them what’s wrong with their machine ….??????? 🙁

Sounds more like the impellor has sheared 😕
If you’re very lucky the shaft won’t be too rusted so you won’t need a new pump….just the impellor kit, but i’ve done a handful now and only one didn’t need a new pump despite attacking them with a wire brush 😯
