DeDietrich FX4447E single oven with pyrolytic clean setting. 97 36 04072.
Oven works fine on every setting except when on ‘pyroclean’ when it will cut out. Everything dead including the clock. If it’s left to cool, comes back on.
So it must be the safety TOC acting. The cabinet cooling fan is running OK.
The last time the customer set it to pyroclean it cut out and the clock now cannot be set at all.
The clock controller is not that expensive but what on the pyro control could be causing this? Is there a separate stat limiting the pyroclean heat? Or does it rely on the oven stat?Any help appreciated!!

I had a couple of these that the board was causing this to happen Steve but, as with a lot of DD machines, sometimes it’s not so obvious.
There’s usually a raft of cut outs on these things but, if you want, I’ll dig up what info I can tomorrow on it for you.

Thanks, Ken, I’d really appreciate that. Trouble is, everything gets so hot you can barely touch it. Then, just as you’re getting somewhere, it all comes back on. 👿
