gegsy and the penguin…according to delonghi, the all gas cooker doesn’t have a function switch,,,therefore it can’t be faulty!!!! :rolls:
thanks for tip about the mains block, i’ll get back to it next week.
thanks

Complete kit from delonghi tech buletin for problem includes selector Switch wired to loom. with a 3 side plate to fit above selector sw to prevent burner heat. done it worn the t shirt, 2 weeks later selector switch burnt out, gamble or not selector sw only may work or not. If replacing only selector sw ensure change amp tags.
Its only my experience, gamble for a recall why not ??
hope this helps,

Greg
you can take option of just replacing selector switch 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sucess, or replace complete kit per delonghi tech and you may/or not get a recall within 12 months.
This is based only on my experiences only,.

Participanti reckon, i fit 3 of these a week, minimum
the loom kit is designed to change the load on the selector, since its wired differently
the switch stays the same
i mean, come on, who thought of putting a main selector directly under the biggest and hottest burner on the cooker?
thats the reason for the plate over the selector… but, alas the selector still burns out
i renew the burnt wires as and were i find them, and i seem to be having some success
just change the selector, the loom doesnt always cure it!!
