It would very probably look like the new Spoutnik range of freestanding microwave ovens from Spain’s Fagor which is essentiually looks like it is just a translucent dome akin to the original iMacs with a nod to Sputnik in the name.

Love it or hate it, at least it’s different. Very different.
Fagor say that you can see inside the dome and actually watch your food cooking in the microwave although, whether many people willbother is a different story. Hats off to Fagor for such a radical take on the humble microwave though.
Out side of the actual design there’s not much that stands out as the microwave appears to be a fairly standard 800W microwave with four settings and most of the basic functions that you would expect to see in any microwave.
This funky new Fagor microwave is available now and we’ve seen if from £199 from online retailers.
