aeg 6100

w/m not going into full spin it just keeps building up speed then dropping off when i first went to it the brushes were very short so i replaced them and all seemed ok but just got a call back saying it is doing the same again, im assuming its a fault with the motor but as with aeg it will be expensive to replace im going back tomorrow is there anything else i should be looking at?
