    Anyone know how to cancel the prog on these? As following the manual never seems to work?
    Also anyone know the part number for the programmed eeprom?

    Its getting harder out there folks!

    In order to cancel any program you should turn program knob to 12’th hour position… If it does not reset search for “WIA” threats and will find solution for that… (two choices: wash with alcohol variable resistor of program selector or change it with temperature/spinning selector if it’s available there…)

    turn the dial to the off position, thats how its supposed to work!!

    faulty eeprom, as u say

    but, since it wont fit yer original board cos its bigger, youll have to fit a pcb too

    yer right, jobs getting impossible

    No, it doesn’t reset because on 12th position potentiometer shouldn’t measure anything but because of dirty (carbon deposits) under voltage will give some readings (not constant infinty)… instead of this it will give corect resistance in other positions… so it doesn’t boil…
